NEIGHBORHOOD LIVING.

A new approach to developing a thriving community addressing 21st century needs with health, arts, and education fluidly integrated into environmentally conscious homes, buildings, and healthy outdoor spaces.
BUILDING A SENSE OF COMMUNITY
Having a strong community in one of Blu Sky Initiative's neighborhoods means having residents that are engaged in communal activities and responsibilities, are empowered through leadership skills and participatory processes, and feel an increase in overall well-being and confidence in their everyday lives.
ECO FRIENDLY DESIGN
Our neighborhood homes utilize design, construction and operation practices that reduce or eliminate negative impacts, and create positive impacts, on our climate and natural environment. Our neighborhoods seek to preserve precious natural resources and improve our quality of life.
DESIGN FOR MODERN LIVING
Each home within our neighborhoods will have a front porch, fencing, landscaping, and trail access. This promotes both the intimacy of close connections forged while visiting on the porch and the ability see and wave at neighbors passing by.
CONSERVATION
The eco-friendly design of homes, landscaping, and conservation spaces connects residents with a shared sense of ownership and pride. Conservation areas are managed to restore native plants and control erosion. Community trails are located around conservation areas to provide a more private and immersive connection to nature.
ONGOING EDUCATION
In addition to single family homes, our neighborhoods include gathering places where community members can build relationships, strengthen their community, and work collectively towards a more sustainable way of living. These spaces will intentionally bring people together to carry out services, activities, programs and events that serve the entire neighborhood.
